SeaSafe's 2023 Conservation Dealer of the year
In the world of marine conservation, it takes a special kind of dedication and effort to stand out as a leader. Last year, Marker 24 Marina set the bar high, being recognized as SeaSafe’s first-ever Dealer of the Year for their incredible environmental practices and commitment to the community. This year, Toho Marine is taking the helm, proving their dedication to the environment, and serving as an outstanding example for the marine industry.
Why Toho Marine Deserves the Title
Located in Saint Cloud, Florida, Toho Marine is a first-class dealership that goes beyond the basics, with an outstanding staff and an impressive facility. But what truly sets them apart is their unwavering commitment to the environment in which they live and work. Toho Marine has long been known for its involvement in waterway cleanups, fishing line recycling efforts, and numerous kid-oriented events that teach the next generation about the importance of respecting and giving back to our precious waters.
Under the leadership of Toho Joe, his wife KP, and their dedicated crew, Toho Marine has made a significant impact in Central Florida by organizing and participating in conservation efforts throughout the region. You can find their team at boat ramps all around Central Florida, picking up trash and removing used fishing line. Not only do they actively participate in these efforts, but they also sponsor other local groups that support the Clean and Protect message of Project SeaSafe.
2023 SeaSafe Conservation Captain of the Year
In addition to honoring Toho Marine, we also want to celebrate our second Annual Conservation Captain of the Year, Captain Adam Sadr, for his exceptional contributions to conservation efforts.
This year, Captain Adam Sadr has been awarded the title of the second Annual Conservation Captain of the Year. Captain Adam specializes in shark fishing for Sea Leveler Sport Fishing aboard his boat, Sea Sharker, and has been an outstanding #DoGooder. Throughout the year, he has submitted numerous photos and videos documenting his conservation efforts. In honor of his dedication, Cory Redwine, our conservation director, presented Captain Adam with a custom piece of trash art resembling a shark, made entirely from trash found on the beach.
Captain Billy Rotne, our first Annual Conservation Captain of the Year, continues to make a significant impact in Mosquito Lagoon and the Ponce Inlet area. His dedication to providing an educational and eco-friendly fishing experience for his clients remains unwavering, and he serves as a great example for other captains in the industry.
A legacy worth continuing
As the 2nd Annual Project SeaSafe Dealer of the Year, Toho Marine follows in the impressive footsteps of Marker 24 Marina in Cocoa Beach, Florida. SeaSafe’s mission is to bring together businesses, environmental concerns, and communities to create a winning formula that benefits everyone. Toho Marine has demonstrated their commitment to this mission through their extensive conservation efforts and community involvement.
In honoring Toho Marine and celebrating our Annual Conservation Captains, SeaSafe hopes to inspire other marine dealers and captains across the country to follow suit and find their own ways of contributing to environmental conservation and community well-being. By recognizing outstanding examples like Marker 24, Toho Marine, Captain Billy Rotne, and Captain Adam Sadr, SeaSafe encourages others in the marine industry to push the boundaries of what’s possible and make a real difference for the environment and their communities.
Congratulations to Toho Marine for their well-deserved recognition as the 2nd Annual Project SeaSafe Dealer of the Year and Captain Adam Sadr for his outstanding work as the second Annual Conservation Captain of the Year. Their collective efforts inspire others in the marine industry to prioritize environmental conservation and community engagement.
