Project SeaSafe 2025: Clean Water Collective – Save the Date & Stay Tuned!

April 23-27, 2025 | Old Fish House Bar & Grill, Grant-Valkaria, FL

The countdown has begun for one of Central Florida’s biggest conservation events of the year! Star brite’s Project SeaSafe 2025 Clean Water Collective is set to take place April 24-27, 2025, at the iconic Old Fish House Bar & Grill in Florida. This year’s event promises to be bigger, better, and more impactful than ever before.

Throughout the weekend, CCA Florida and Duke Energy will spearhead the deployment of four million clams as part of the ongoing Billion Clam Initiative. On Saturday, the CCA Florida habitat team will host a Vertical Oyster Garden (VOG) Workshop, offering participants a hands-on opportunity to assemble his or her own VOGs. These structures can then be deployed from locals’ docks to help enhance marine habitat and improve water quality in the Indian River Lagoon.

New Swell Restoration will be on hand teaching and preparing thousands of Red Mangroves for the restoration of the Indian River Lagoon.

Dr. Todd Osbourne will have an education tent set up for the public, come learn about the current state and plans for the Indian River Lagoon.
